36 Weeks of downloadable workbooks for coaches, captains, athletes, and families
Fresh video and written lessons every year for secondary athletics programs
License to use the lessons across all sports programs for one high school, as well as feeder middle schools
Yearly subscription rate that is locked in for life
Process Confidence
When we base our confidence on external factors, it will be like our confidence is on a roller coaster. That better-than-you confidence or that scoreboard confidence will keep us going up and down and through loop-the-loops. Roller coaster confidence is not helpful because we cannot rely on it.
Instead, we want to work on developing steady and reliable Process Confidence. Process Confidence comes from knowing who we are, knowing what we need to do, and then doing our work to the best of our ability. Process Confidence will be there for us where scoreboard confidence fails.
Character vs. Talent
To maximize the impact you can have on the world, yourself and your team, It’s not complicated; it’s as simple as two words: character vs. talent.
Too often we’re disproportionately focused on talent over character. We view talent as the way to make it. We strive to develop our talent; maximize our skill; because we think it’s the thing that will drive us to succeed in life. All the while it’s easy to neglect character.
How many division one athletes do you know who are untalented? You see, at a certain level, talent levels out. To maximize your talent, you have to must maximize your character. The strength of your character will determine the success of your talents.
Championship Accountability
To be a champion, you need both internal and external accountability. Internal accountability is the standard you set for yourself based on your own integrity. It’s what makes you take ownership for your actions. External accountability is the standard you set for your teammates, your friends, and your family, and that they set for you.
Accountability, both internal and external, calls us to do the things we know we should be doing. It holds us to a higher standard than we might otherwise reach.
GAMEDAY WITH COACH MACKEY
ELEMENTARY PE CURRICULUM LESSONS
Gameday with Coach Mackey connects character lessons with learning about the world while playing a fun and active game. Each Gameday lesson includes an engaging six to eight minute video for K-2 and 3-5, trivia questions to warm up, serious questions to cool down, and a game inspired by different places in the world.
Each lesson also includes a breakdown of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) competencies related to each lesson.
EVERY WEEK INCLUDES
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
SERVANT LEADERSHIP SUMMITS
LEAD uses dynamic speakers, fun competition, and timeless principles to equip student-athletes with practical tools to lead on their team, campus, and in their community. Athletes will be encouraged and equipped through an all-day, interactive conference. By the end, students and coaches will develop a game plan for making an impact in their community.
Every event includes dynamic speakers, an MC, a game plan for the day, and monthly lessons for the following school year. Branded materials are also available, such as LEAD notebooks, pens, lanyards with VIP name tags, and more!
THE CAPTAINS COURSE
This leadership development course is the answer to the question,
“How do I build a player-led team?”
Here’s what is included with THE CAPTAINS COURSE:
Ten (10) Weeks of custom Leadership Development curriculum
Game Plan, Prep Guide and scripts for your Captains to learn, practice, and use while leading their teammates
Three live training sessions with Coach Mackey (and other captains from across the state) to encourage and equip your captains across the course
Weekly leadership challenges to grow and develop your captains
Fully Digital
THE CAPTAINS COURSE is fully digital, and it can be integrated into platforms like SportsYOU or Google Classroom.
Multiple Use
THE CAPTAINS COURSE can be used across multiple programs– only pay per customization.
10-Week Course
THE CAPTAINS COURSE is available for 10 weeks in the Spring and Fall. Sign ups are limited.
